The Kindling of a Flame--Out into Tybis

The Queen looked up at our entrance, nodding to each of us in turn, "Good morning, Katja...Lord Krolaun."

I bowed respectfully, and Krolaun nodded, "Pray what is the news, Majesty?" I inquired.

She rose from her Throne, motioning us to follow. I walked at her side as she looked at us both, Krolaun lingered behind us, "I am afraid I have no news as of yet, But Bast still watches over Them. He says he has a plan, but he has not divulged anything more to me."

I nodded, "Well, I shall seek out Bast to see what it is he has in mind."

She turned to look upon us both, "Let me know of anything, should you hear before I do."

Krolaun nodded, "Of course."

I nodded as well, "As you wish, Your Majesty."

With that, I exited the Throne Room with Krolaun on my heels. Krol and I made our way through the massive halls of the Palace, seeking the cat-god, Bast. A few inquiries gave us his location, and we proceeded to the dungeons where Bast was still with the prisoners.

Before we could reach the door, however, we were stopped by a single guard, "Lord Bast has left orders not to be disturbed for the duration of the morning. He requests that you return this afternoon."

I nodded, seeing no other alternative. We made our way back out to the Main Hall and I stopped in the middle of it. It was not wise for me to enter the city alone. So, I turned to the elf, "Well, now what?"

"Let's go visit," Krol said.

"Visit whom?" I said, my brow furrowing in confusion. Krolaun knew of no one to visit besides Olan. And Olan was still trapped in numerous Council sessions.

"A little old lady," he stated simply, exiting the Palace grounds and entering the city.
