You pass beyond the gates of the Palace compound, crossing the small expanse of grass and step onto the marblized porch. Only a few trees and bushes alleviate the expanse of marble. To the left is a small pathway leading to a low wall; from the trees and shrubbery you can tell it is some sort of pleasure garden. To the right is a cobblestoned area, looking to be some type of practice ground, for some of the cobbles are chipped, scuffed, and scarred. Directly before you are the main doors of the Grand Palace of Tybis.
Your guide looks to you, gesturing to the vast expansion of the yard, "These are the grounds of the Palace." She gestures to the left, "That is the Queen's Garden, maintained by Oridosha's finest gardeners," gestures right, "That is the Battleground, training area of the Soldir um Tybiris."
She turns, gesturing to the doors ahead, "Those lead into the Main Hall of the Palace itself," she looks over her shoulder at you, "Where do you wish to go?"
